It is clearly stated in the property description that the Horseshoe Bay amenities are not included with this rental, so it really was on us for trying. If you don't want to risk potential embarrassment or questioning, I wouldn't attempt the Waterfront restaurant. One of three Robert Trent Jones Snr layouts built over a fifteen year period at the Horseshoe Bay Resort, the Ram Rock course was the second course to make. He put us down as being a "guest of a member". We were able to get a table but only after the manager made it clear that the restaurant was for members only, however, he made an exception for us as the restaurant was not busy at the time we went. Horseshoe Bay Resort may be set on 7,000 acres of Texas Hill Country real estate once sacred to the Comanche Indians, but there is nothing Lonesome Dove-ish. The property manager was excellent to work with! Very prompt in answering our questions and very helpful.
The property is beautiful and the condo itself is well appointed with decor and furnishings that are top-notch! The king sized bed was so comfortable! We rented a boat and after a day on the lake, the condo was a cool and comfortable place to relax until dinner. "We really enjoyed staying at this Horseshoe Bay condo.
